Oprah’s Book Club is kicking off 2025 with a strong start, already featuring two selections this year. While we typically see around four picks annually, if this trend continues, we could see as many as 12 selections—a rare but exciting possibility!
Currently, we expect to see picks #110–113, with the potential to reach #124. If the numbers hold, Oprah’s Book Club could still maintain its place among the top book clubs, though projections suggest Reese’s Book Club may surpass it in total book count this year. But as always, time will tell!
Oprah’s Book Club 2025: The Stats So Far
- Publication Year: Most of the books so far are new 2025 releases, with the exception of a couple modern classics from 2006 and 2007.
- Average Rating: The selections have earned a strong 4.22 average rating so far.
- Book Length: At 409 pages on average, these books lean toward the longer side.
- Top Genres: While it’s may be a little early to call a non-fiction trend is emerging. Selections mainly include fiction, literary fiction, contemporary, non-fiction and biography memoir.

This year’s list is a great match if you:
